Our Founders and Director
Our Founders:
Established in 1994, Shabadi Super Speciality Centre was founded by Senior Pediatrician Dr. Shivayogappa B. Shabadi and Smt Sunanda S Shabadi. Our medical centre has been dedicated to providing exceptional paediatric care, advanced diagnostics, and treatment options to families in Bagalkot and surrounding areas.
Our Director:
Dr. Vijaykumar S. Shabadi is a Senior Consultant Neuro and Spine surgeon and Director of Shabadi Neuro & Super-Speciality Centre. He completed his M. Ch Neurosurgery from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, one of India’s premier medical institutions. He has undergone advanced fellowship training in Brain Tumour and Spine Surgery from Hokkaido University Hospital, Japan, and has performed over 10,000 complex brain and spine surgeries independently. He has also successfully treated many patients with non-surgical management whenever appropriate. With more than 25 accredited publications in international journals and experience working in leading corporate hospitals in Bangalore, he has completed advanced training in Neurosciences from Duke Medical Centre, USA. Dr. Shabadi is deeply committed to serving the people of North Karnataka by applying his extensive clinical experience, advanced surgical skills, and in-depth medical knowledge to deliver high-quality neurological care locally, while continuing the medical legacy of his father and founder, Late Dr. Shivayogappa B. Shabadi.
